Pakistan SU has announced this year’s, 2023, Pakistan Society Awards📣📣
What an amazing year it has been, as we’ve seen our societies grow throughout the U.K., with some societies putting on some of the best events ever seen. Certainly, our societies have helped students create some of the best university memories, that will live with them for the rest of their lives🎓. Pakistan Society Awards will be presented in London, on the 9th of August🕺🏻💃🏻 ✨🎉✨.
Although the Awards Ceremony traditionally takes place in March, this year’s move to August comes with the desire of moving the Awards closer to the 14th of August aka Pakistan Independence Day. For so long there has been a desire by the internal team to do something that would start the buzz, and what better way to do it with the Pakistan Society Awards.
Here is everything you need to know about how the finalist for each award will be picked – there will be 3 rounds to reaching the award:
1) Elimination Round: Students will be able to vote for their desired societies/individuals via https://www.pakistansu.com/pakistan-society-awards/ . You need at least 25 votes to pass the first round. Societies/individuals that can not get 25 votes, will be eliminated. Elimination will occur on the 28th of July.
2) Top Votes: Societies/individuals that hold the top 5 positions in the votes will go to the final round. This will occur on the 4th of August.
3) Judges: Societies/individuals will be passed on to the judges (who may be in touch requiring more info if needed). The 5 judges will then go through each nominee and achieve a unanimous decision of who will win the award.
Awards will be given on the 9th of August in London – at 3 pm before the Summer Boat Party by TPF.
